Project Summary
Aiming to improve customer support with an integrated resource hub for Midmed's range of medical equipment and supplies. This hub will provide access to a range of resources, including articles, videos, tutorials, case studies, and downloadable documents such as brochures, manuals, catalogs, guides, and contracts.
Problem
Users face difficulties accessing detailed product information and support resources, often necessary for the purchasing of high-ticket and intricate medical equipment. Additionally, there's a need to restrict access to sensitive documents like contracts.

Empowering Users with Comprehensive Support
The key users are purchasing officers and managers of medical facilities. Purchasing high-value and complex medical equipment requires users to conduct thorough evaluations before making purchases. It's essential to ensure easy access to information and support, including tutorials, videos, brochures, and user manuals, throughout the sales process and beyond. Overcoming WordPress CMS Limitations
The project was required to use WordPress as the CMS. WordPress offers custom post types and taxonomies for organising content, its data structure is not as flexible as some other CMS platforms. Complex data models required workarounds or compromises in the resource library architecture.

Advancing Forwards
Through the creation of an integrated resource hub the initial challenge of empowering users to find the right information is advancing towards success. Post-development, the design will undergo testing and optimisation for mobile performance, and further evaluation will be conducted on usability and integration into the existing site.
